Objective of job

• Provide technical and non-technical support to VPC workshop.
• Enable primarily the newly established VPC to function according to MB standards and guidelines.
• Ultimate goals to achieve customer satisfaction and VPC efficiency
• Monitor the vehicle quality from the plants and maintain the reporting with the plants for technical problem solving

Qualification required

• Education
• Fluent in English, Mandarin
• Computer literate with MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, e-mail and web
• Positive attitude, analytical skills
• Consistency and accuracy in administrative task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work as a team with other department
• Experience
• 6 years of workshop operation experience or 4 years MB workshop experience
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Automotive or other Technical fields
• Specific Knowledge
• Driving license C1

Task designation

• Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) Quality Management
• Implement and ensure the new vehicles Pre-Inspection according to the standard MB Pre-Inspection report and their quality in the VPC
• Check 5 to 10 % of the PDI vehicles at the Q-Gate in the VPC and prepare the report accordingly
• Technic Support
• Check and provide technical support and ensure the repair quality for Transport Damages, SM/RC and all technical repairs in the VPC
• Product Analysis
• Analyze product problems and prepare technical reports; liaise with CAS QM in the problem
• solving process to reach quick solutions .
• Monitor Guidelines
• Implementation all of internal regular reporting process / data recording / evaluation system
• Information
• Provide technical information to the VPC technical staff and MBCL VL
• Relationship
• Cultivate good relations and contacts to the counterparts at VPC, MBCL VL and other business related departments

As a joint-venture wholesale company, Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd (MBCL), imports almost the entire MBC passenger car product line to mainland China, and manages the brand, sales, service and distribution for MBC products in China. MBCL also oversees the Hong Kong operation via Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Ltd. (a 100% Daimler AG subsidiary), which manages the imported MBC passenger cars and CV for Hong Kong and Macau.
