Our customer is an European company. An international Chemical Group.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with maintenance and other technical support to ensure plant production, quality and processes flow smoothly and at minimal cost.
• Develop automation process platforms, roadmaps, and standards for assembly processed using latest automation technology to enable the most cost effective and efficient assembly operations
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in applied technology and working methods
• Configure the hardware of the equipments on which process control software is installed, and develop usable user interfaces on both process controller and dedicated operator interfaces/touch screens
• Working with production, mechanical maintenance and equipment suppliers to identify assembly automation opportunities, to get projects approved, and to manage multiple projects for on target implementation
• Provide expertise and assistance in scope reviews, HAZOPs, safety audits, as requested/necessary.
• Ensure that all work complies with company standards and issued procedures.
• Develop production safety and efficiency by running specific technical studies and proposing improvements on industrial tools, equipment and processes (automation, electrical systems, control systems and instrumentation)
• Build up technical documentation system concerned
• Participate in creation of investment program and supervise installation operations on industrial equipment
• Identify, communicate, implement, and maintain “best practices” and procedures. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
• Foster and support positive working relationships at plant levels and regions with internal and external customers. Promote resource sharing across the organization
• Supervise, motivate, coach and evaluate the members of his/her team
  
  

Experience:

• With 8+ years of experience in automation on complex systems;
• Bachelor Degree or above, on Instrumentation, Automation or Electrical Technology preferred
• Working knowledge of applicable codes, installation requirements and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to use various troubleshooting techniques to solve problems
• Able to work and communicate clearly in a global team
• Good Analytical skills on defining Root Cause/s and or Preventive Actions
• Knowledgeable in the principles and techniques commonly used in the electrical field, including programming, troubleshooting, and single loop controllers.
• Must be able to provide training and guidance to the technicians in own department.
