Introduction / Headline:

This Senior Financial Analyst is focused on improving and delivering meaningful financial reports in international standards of the mobile marketing business in China.



Job Description:

1. Financial Accounting/compliance
§ Key member in the transition from basic cash accounting to efficient and system driven accounting that complied with international standards;

§ Support FC to gather and deliver meaningful financial data and commentary:

§ Ownership of the reporting process per company/ group requirements;

§ Key member in the Half Year End and Year End reporting process and ensure quality data are collected and submitted timely;

§ Ensure all entities are properly reflected in the accounts for transfer pricing and inter-company recharge issues;

§ Work with internal auditors to assist on internal controls issues;

§ Work with external auditors to ensure we are in proper compliance with law and reports are submitted on time;

§ Prepare cash flow forecasts and project in advance for cash needs of the business and prepare the monthly cash flow statements to explain the cash movements.

2. Financial Planning , Budgeting and Forecasting
§ Take a lead in data collection and submission to Hyperion System for the annual budgeting, mid-year forecasting and regular update in forecasting process of the company;

§ May required regular contacts with sales, operational, procurement teams;

§ Need to provide high quality analysis on movements and able to explain the rational behind;

§ Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the sales pipeline and forecast implications of the company;

§ Always aware of the current status of forecast for the year, a high level information for the next year and display a thorough understanding of key assumptions, events, risk and opportunities that could affect the business;

3. Management Information and Accounting
§ Support FC in developing an exceptionally efficient management reporting process that fully leverages the Hyperion and Oracle systems and meets all deadlines

§ Proactively identify issues, risks, opportunities and provide advice to resolve them

§ Ensure exceptionally high standards of core financial data quality, for example, figures are in correct cost centres, balance sheet codes used appropriately

§ Analyze KPIs and provide more insight for FC and business leaders

4. Systems
§ Skilful user of Hyperion and Smartview as reporting tools;

§ Support in the transformation from the local system into Oracle system;

§ Support in the implementation of the Billing system;

§ Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and efficiency of financial systems and the process;

§ Being part of the project teams to address issues and leverage global support as necessary;



Skills and Qualifications:



§ Experiences in transformation of local bookkeeping to IFRS complied standards in a high paced and high transaction environment

§ Knowledge of IFRS

§ Good Excel, PowerPoint skills and financial ERP system experience

§ Past experiences in Hyperion reporting tools is highly desired.

§ Experiences in commercial budgeting, forecasting and reporting

§ Fluent in reading and writing English.

§ Teamwork, positive and proactive

§ Able to handle multi tasking and tight deadlines
