职位描述
Position Title： Finance Manager
Department: Finance
Reports to (title): Finance Director, APAC Operations
Location: Beijing / Shanghai
Direct reports: 0
Position Purpose:
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting Pearson APAC’s growth plans for China by providing financial expertise to support the commercial and project team and manage the reporting requirements on a number of high profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:-
Development, maintenance and scenario modeling of a number of Project Business Cases across China
Preparing of monthly project financial reports and tracking of all China project costs both in and out of country
Act as a primary contact for all finance project-related interfaces – planning, reporting and coordinating project activities to
ensure success
Providing any required input into quarterly and yearly budget submissions and that it is accurate and reflective of project
requirements
Supporting the China Growth Platform Leadership team during the design and build phase
Provide financial information and projections for the establishment of the statutory entity within which the services will reside.
Establish appropriate recharge mechanisms to ensure costs are being appropriately allocated amongst all operating
companies using the services within China.
Compliance with all control procedures associated with Sarbanes Oxley
Qualifications and/or Experience: (mandatory, critical, preferable)
? 6+ years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis in MNC (mandatory)
? Previous experience in higher volume and turnover environment including reconciliation, EOM, EOY reporting (mandatory)
? Proficiency in accounting, reporting, forcasting techniques and procedures
? Experience in a Business Analyst or Project Accountant role (mandatory)
? Strong MS Office skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Project (critical)
? Excellent understanding and experience of key project finance processes and terms is a pre-requisite (critical)
? Experience of working within the finance element of a large scale organization and of tracking large annual budgets
(preferable)
