Key Objectives: System and road test and validation of vehicle electronics hardware and software
Quality test and validation of external partners and IT systems
Maintenance and update of test setups and measurement equipment
Execution of test and test cases
Programming and execution of automated test setups in a test automation framework
Support the coordination of internal and external partners in China / Beijing

Major Responsibilities: Execution of test cases including road tests, recording of errors and results in reports and error reporting systems
Updating HW and SW of test setups and ECUs
Programming and execution of automated test setups in a test automation framework
Performing regular tests of the BMW ConnectedDrive system, resulting in error reports and feedback for agent training. Confirmation of bug fixes and feature improvements.
Adjust existing test cases to the Chinese market
Maintain and extend current test setups
Support of the coordination of internal and external partners for ConnectedDrive China

Education / Degree: Engineering degree (master or bachelor with international studies) in automotive / electrical / computer / communications engineering or similar

Knowledge / Skills / Competences: Basic programming skills
Understanding of automotive telecommunication
Valid driver’s license which is at least 2 years old and very good driving capabilities resulting from regular car usage.
Excellent language skills in Chinese and English (written and oral); German language skills are highly appreciated
Experience in automotive, automotive test tools and workflows
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing, multi-task environment
CallCenter experience appreciated
Microsoft Office skills
