Responsibilities:
- Oversee Engineering Department to provide professional technical support for production and new products
- Drive engineering team to provide prompt & effective solutions for engineering issues both internal and external
- Coach team members to be experts on plastics injection, metal parts, tooling, electronics and box build
- Drive and work with existing suppliers to provide high standard service, verify parts and components to meet drawings and quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with other departments for improving products quality, reliability, on time delivery, and cost saving
- Supplier engineering capability evaluation

Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 10 year manufacturing engineering experience, 3 year as an Engineering Manager
- Demonstrated ability for resolving complex issues to tight timescales
- Solid knowledge of plastic injection moulding & metal components; knowledge of electronics components is a plus
- Knowledge of DFM and DFA techniques
- Good command of written and spoken English
