职位描述
This position will be responsible for commercialized support of embedded Linux SDK development, porting, customization and optimization based on Freescale’s microprocessors for timely marketing needs, initiated from Networking Software and Service Group (NSSG). The development will include marketing-driven applications, Linux kernel and related device drivers development, customization and optimization, especially for networking programming. The position requests significant network experience . The engineer will work under Freescale Digital Network SW R&D in Beijing.
Main Responsibility:
It is responsible of commercialized suppo-rt of embedded Linux SDK development, porting, customization and optimization based on Freescale’s microprocessors for timely marketing needs, initiated from Networking Software and Service Group (NSSG).
The development will include marketing-driven applications, Linux kernel and related device drivers development, customization and optimization, especially for networking programming
Qualifications:
Minimum BSEE or BSCS, Masters Preferred.
Minimum of 3-6 years of embedded systems programming using Linux or UNIX operating systems
Strong knowledge in embedded system programming, Linux kernel, device driver and toolchain
Strong program skills in C/C++ and assembly language. Familiar with Git source code management tool.
Rich Experience on developing control-plane and data-plane software for network devices, networking stack, wireless, in at least one of the following areas: Networking, Telecommunication, Enterprise network, SDN, Access, Storage, or Industrial devices.
Experience of low level Linux driver development. Familiar with one or more of the following: Ethernet, PCIe, sRIO, Power Management, virtualization, DDR, SATA, Flash, MMU, eSDHC, or USB.
Familiar with any of the following processors architecture: PowerPC, ARM and MIPS. Prefer to have multi-core knowledge.
Excellent customer support experience will be prefered.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, good oral and written English skills, self-motivated.
