Major Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, prompt and professional Facilities Management services to support UGSC business operations in Shanghai China;
• To provide a safe and comfortable working environment for all Unisys staff and maintaining well-organised Facility operations / maintenance programs focused on preserving and enhancing the value of the Facility;
• Conduct weekly maintenance and cleaning inspections;
• Communicate regularly with manager and other leaders from UGSC business operations in Shanghai China;
• Organise trades people to complete maintenance and conduct on site supervision of their work;
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations that relate to office premises;
• Manage fire safety compliance;
• Manage printers, stationary and other consumables;
• Assist Procurement team during contract negotiations for Building Maintenance vendors;
• Comply with Unisys Procurement Policy and be honest and ethical in all business activities;
• Attend to all building maintenance requests raised by Unisys employees.
• Initiate, direct, monitor and control daily performance of Suppliers to ensure that all activities are performed; Assist with the Facilities Management of UGSC business operations in other parts of China;
• Work with Suppliers, trades people and Unisys business team leaders to ensure complex issues are resolved;
• Create and maintain good business relationships with Suppliers;
• Create and maintain good business relationships with all Unisys managers;
• Be a member of project teams during office fit outs and office relocations;
• Assist Unisys teams such as Supply Chain Management, Finance, Health & Safety, Security, Legal and Risk Management as required.

Requirements

• Understanding of Procurement and Sourcing methodologies;
• Knowledge and awareness of business finance;
• Active listening skills, with the ability to filter critical elements to understand the true business requirement;
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
• Strong understanding of business structures, relationships, and practices;
• Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
• Confidence and ability to work unsupervised, and the initiative to overcome obstacles to reach common goals;
• Displays selflessness, and the ability to empathise with others;
• Flexible to change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to collaborate with and work effectively as a team;
• Strong commercial and financial acumen;
• Self-motivated, hard working with good communication skills;
• Customer-oriented with a strong team work spirit;
• Working knowledge of computers, skills in Windows and Microsoft Office;
• 5 years experience in plant maintenance, facilities management, experience working for a global corporation is an advantage;
• Hotel or engineering background is preferred. Technician back ground is an advantage;
• Minimum of Secondary education.
