Job Description:

Overall Responsibility
1. Provide strategic plans focusing on how to improve the marketing functions and processes with a long term view to contribute towards the company’s growth and key strategies.
2. Provide strategic direction and manage the execution of the marketing campaigns according to agreed strategies, milestones, timeline on the assigned portfolio of events.
3. Create and shape team cultures which promote excellence, collaboration and innovation.
4. Provide quarterly review, and setting benchmarks for each assigned event to identifying gaps and providing solutions with significant improvement in results.
5. Continuously seek out new innovative methods and processes to go one up against the competition.
6. Leadership skills geared towards coaching managers and key marketing staff.
7. Provide systematic training for all marketing staff, as well as encouraging breakthroughs away from the traditional.

Major Responsibility

? Marketing strategy
- Understand the key marketing goals and financial goals of the assigned portfolio and devise on appropriate marketing strategies and campaigns that achieved the goals.
? Marketing skills and talent development
- To identify competencies gaps of marketers, put together and execute the annual training program as per scheduled.
- Provide guidance and on the job training to project managers and marcom executives
- Supervise the planning and execution of marketing activities
- Ensuring the sharing of best practices
- Assist the preparation of show marketing budgets
? Management of key marketing suppliers
- Manage and liaise with the main suppliers to ensure the best use of marketing budgets.
? Exhibitor and visitor research
- To embed customers’ insights in the marketing cycle, to devise and implement improved research tools and ensure high quality analysis is undertaken and logical conclusions reached and advise appropriate actions taken by project managers in respect of the following event.
- To put in a proper team structure that enable the customers’ insights research are being conducted according to schedule and recommended actions are being executed as per time line.

Marketing effectiveness
1. To provide guidance and support to ensure the marketing team continue to improve and meet the gaps that are being identified.
2. Support VPs to ensure all onsite customers’ services meet Corporate minimum standards by providing guidelines and support the show team in putting together the touch points enhancement program for all events under the assigned portfolio min. 6 months prior to the event.
3. Production of promotional material
4. To compile, design and produce high quality promotional material that meet or exceed the min. corporate guidelines. These materials include: ppt, website, brochure, poster, flyer, show directory, press releases etc.

E-Marketing
To work with E-Business Director to drive E-marketing excellence and ensure online marketing campaign is result-driven and high quality that include: corporate websites, show websites, SEO, SEM and social media.

Corporate marketing and PR
1. Ensure the corporate website is of high quality and is kept up-to-date.
2. Respond to internal and external corporate requests for information
3. Advise the management group on appropriate strategies to promote the Company generally
4. Participates in strategy setting for new business development opportunities.

Job Qualification:
1. Over 12 years working experience in multinational company, At least 5 years in B2B marketing and 4 years managerial experience
2. MBA degree preferred, ideally in marketing
3. Experience in exhibition industry is preferable
4. Excellent oral and written communication in both English and Chinese with strong interpersonal skills
5. Possess extremely high personal standards
6. Computer literacy and database management skills are important
7. Must be a team player and provide leadership support to develop and train supporting marketing staff
8. Able to work under pressure. Multi tasked, attention to details and self driven
9. Highly analytical and good command of ppt and report writing
10. Creative, strategically thinking and an eye to identify business and marketing gaps
11. With exhibition or events management experience is a plus
12. Have a good understanding of the industry is a plus as well
13. Good knowledge of e-marketing is preferred
14. Ability to work on own initiative but equally able to work with peers to assist them improve their marketing activities.
