IT@DNV is DNV's internal service provider with a complete responsibility for DNV's global ICT operations and support. The global IT department has more than 200 employees. Service management globally in IT@DNV is following ITIL model.

IT@DNV has one Global Service Center and one Application Service Center in Shanghai with over 30 employees. Different kinds of IT services are being provided here for Asian time zone, including Global Service Desk, Deskside support, VerIT Server Application Support, VerIT Server Management, Network, Data Center Management, Application Support, Application Development and etc.

VerIT Server Application Team is in charge of database management and core application services support. This position will be member of global VerIT Server Application Team. The team currently works in Oslo, but plans to extend to Shanghai.

This position is permanent DNV employee. We offer chances on training and personal development based on your competence and performance.

Major Duties:
- Responsibility for daily installation, operation and technical support for databases of DNV core applications.
- Work close with application expert teams in IT@DNV to improve existing setup and implementation of new application services
- Project participation and development of new solutions
- Participate in the regular support duty of the VerIT Server Management team.
- Participation in other task/projects per requests of line manager.

Qualifications:
- Have relevant computer education with minimum bachelor degree is required
- Have proficiency in English-spoken and written is required
- MCSA SQL Server Certification or equivalent is required
- Be customer-oriented, have can-do mind-set and proactive attitude.
- Maintain a high team spirit and effective communication together with local team as well as global team. A collaborative attitude and willingness to share your knowledge within the team are expected.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and best practices (e.g. ITIL) is preferred
