We are searching for a software support engineer for DNV Software's Synergi software tool. Synergi® is a module based application used to collect, process and analyze information related to HSEQ and risk management.

You will work in our customer support team closely together with sales, product management and the development team.

Job Description:
- The SW Implementation/Support Enginer shall report to the Area Manager who is located in our office in China.
- He/She shall be responsible:
* Customer support and problem solving
* Technical installation, upgrades and configuration
* Implementation projects
* Cooperation with 2nd and 3rd line support
* Testing of new software releases
* As our market is global some travel will be required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree of Science
- Fluent oral and writing English are required.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team
- Systematic and structured
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Written and oral communication skills in English
- Pro-active and customer-orientated
- It is desirable that the candidate has some years of experience, but graduates will also be considered.
- Windows Server / Web technology
- Database technology - Oracle / MS SQL Server
- SQL development - PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc
- IT bachelor/master degree
- Programming experience is an advantage
- Full training in Synergi will be provided.
