POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Power Product Manager will have the responsibility to support Global Product Director and Global Product Managers with all product management and product marketing facets of meeting product
line growth targets in revenue, gross margin, operating income, new product release, daily operations and market penetration.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accountable for internal and external customer satisfaction (covering time-to-market, delivery performance, response time, competitive intelligence, technology etc.)
2. Focus on not only Asia EMS/ODM vendors, but also Global customers in general
3. Represent the product line as a technical and business champion at industry trade shows,
technology fairs, customer visits with sales or FAE personnel
4. Understand market place and competition, collect competitive information including new products, pricing, support
5. Manage order expedites and delivery issues
6. Provide support to engineering with the design and documentation of new products
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. An industry background in electronic systems or electronic components with emphasis on power connectors, serving a broad global customer base
2. Good exposure and understanding of manufacturing business
3. Broad exposure to networking, server, storage, telecommunications industries in general
4. An undergraduate degree (engineering or business preferred)
5. Computer proficient (knowledge of SAP a plus)
6. Experience supporting sales organizations a plus
