HASSELL is a leading multi-disciplinary Australian design firm with offices throughout Asia. We are currently seeking candidates for our China design studios to undertake a range of innovative design projects in Hong Kong and PRC. HASSELL offers a collaborative working environment in a boutique design studio culture.

Role description

_Understand the urbanization and macroeconomic situations of China

_To work in support of newly formed urban futures group developing research studies applicable to new sustainable urban environments in China and internationally

_Assist senior management and design leaders in developing knowledge expertise relevant to market position

_Possess capabilities of rapid searching, sorting, analysis and PPT presentation of information to be used as support for the management staff in their real-time analysis of the policies/economy/industrial situations of the Chinese region.

Requirements, e.g. skills and experience

_Urban Design and / or Urban Research Qualification

_ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
_Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese.
_Ability to use own initiative and perform duties under limited supervision.
_Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
_Good organisational and time management skills.
_Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
-Minimum 3 years relevant field working experience
_Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite, strong MS Excel skills essential.
_Photoshop Illustrator and In-Design experience desirable.
_High level MS Outlook skills essential.
