Key Responsibilities
1. Develop 3 years brand strategy to support revenue growth
2. Brand P&L (brand profitability, brand contribution to whole company portfolio)
3. Brand Plan Development-Work with suppliers, Sales Management, logistics and finance teams to develop the annual brand plans, including:
- Work with Summergate sales management team on depletion forecasting and A&P budgeting
- Align with the suppliers on depletion forecast and A&P budget
- Calendarize the brand activities by channel and area throughout the calendar year, with the budget allocation
4. Brand Plan Implementation and Evaluations – ensure flawless execution of planned brand activities by:
-Presenting the brand plan to Summergate executive team (functional directors, and Area Directors) before kick off
- Presenting the brand plan to each regional sales team with all details to ensure proper downstream communications and implementation
- Ensure that all materials necessary for the brand programs are available well in advance, and properly distributed
- Prepare evaluations of all brand activities-results vs. plan objectives, efficiency of spend, and internal / external feedback
5. Budget Control - manage the budgeting and implementation process, including:
- Confirm all allocated budgets with both suppliers and Summergate finance team
- Coordinate with suppliers for prompt payment of all A&P funds in advance of in-market expenditures, manage actual spend within the plan.
- Provide necessary invoices and documentation for suppliers
- Review the brand budget with Summergate finance team on regular base
6. Supplier Management – work closely with suppliers to ensure the following:
- Have clear communication and alignment on brand calendar and activity plan
- Ensure the supplier A&P contributions could be made on time and in full, according to the agreed plan
- Share the relevant information with suppliers in a sensible timeframe
7. Prepare reports and analysis, and send it to senior management team first, and then suppliers, including but not limited to;
- Updated brand marketing calendar and activity details
- Monthly / Quarterly / Annual performance evaluations (depletion, shipment, A&P spending)
- Individual brand activity briefs, proposals, and evaluations (for key activities)
- Quarterly brand status reports
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. At least 5 years solid marketing experiences in imported wine industry
3. Hands on brand planning and implementation capability and experience.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Proactive and positive work approach, high sense of responsibility;
6. Self-motivated and diligent;
7. Good computer literacy, e.g. MS Office, Outlook, etc.
8. Good command of English in both written and oral; other languages is plus.
9. Could work in a multi-cultural team.
