As part of this design team you will support new product introductions, product life-cycle engineering, and cost down designs. Team members will collaborate with US engineers, procurement, local vendors and manufacturing during all phases of product development to optimize designs for cost, performance, manufacturability, service and reliability.

This is a senior position. Candidate should demonstrate success in the design of electronic instrumentation products and electromechanical components.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field is required; Master's degree preferred
-5-10 years of design experience
-2+ years Pro/Engineer (Wildfire 4.0) experienceKnowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing processes (including injection molding tooling) and assembly techniques to insure cost effective designs
-Experience in solving both Thermal and EMC problems
-Proven design creativity and initiative
-Ability to demonstrate leadership with an ability and passion to learn
-Strong experience of working very closely with the suppliers to get the tooling to produce the right part
-Ability to work independently as well as in a global team
-Must be willing and able to travel to the US
-Excellent English written and oral communication skills
-Experience with CAD analysis tools
