Job Responsibilities:

1.Work closely with contract manufacturer to manage E-component Hubs implementation and monitor hub performance, ensure smooth running of hubs and drive improvement.
2.Analyzes EMS supplier assembly Quotes & Quarterly Cost Reviews to find “Best of BOM” pricing among using sites and works to implement in all uses possible. Approve Quotes & QCR’s and communicate to stakeholders for implementing price changes.
3. Perform high-usage component analysis and assign & coordinate actions to get best pricing implemented across all using sites. Working with EMS sites & Tek Commodity Managers, perform periodic audits and follow-up to ensure price reductions get incorporated as soon as possible.
4. Ensures price changes for Tektronix-supplied material get implemented accurately across EMS sites.
5. Manage consignment program for consigned components to contract manufacturers.
6. Maintain & provide metric data regarding cost reductions planned & achieved.
7. Analyzes complex problems, interprets operational needs, and develops integrated, creative solutions--including assessing the cost versus benefit of alternative solutions.
8.Leads or participates in a wide variety of projects, which may involve New Product Introduction and/or Worldwide Manufacturing and GSC Key Initiatives.

Job Requirements:

1.College Degree (or above) in Supply Chain Management, Materials management, Business, Engineering or equivalent2.Procurement experience for commodity of electrical or electronics such as PCBA, PCB, electrical components, connectors etc.
3.Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a high technology manufacturing environment with experience in procurement or commodity management.
4.Demonstrated analytical and project management skills in the Supply Chain functions--including Commodity Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Materials Planning, & Manufacturing. Strong, creative, & collaborative problem solving skills.
5.Able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Record of successful business relationships and experience in communicating with contacts in external companies & with a wide variety of internal functions by phone, via email, in conference calls, & in meetings. Must demonstrate professional written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
6.Skills in contract negotiation, cost reduction. Ability to interpret & execute Contracts & agreements; business acumen and analytical skills. Handles sensitive pricing and competitive information with good judgment.
