The Relationship Manager is responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and referrals. It is expected that a clear understanding of the performance history and future plans of each portfolio is well understood by the relationship manager (account planning) before advice is given to the client. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for the client whilst minimizing all potential risks to ANZ.

The prime focus will be on growing the business through product volume, new client acquisition and increasing the number of products held per client. Strict adherence to policies and procedures is expected of you.

Qualifications:

Tertiary Qualification in a business related field

Strong knowledge of financial statement and credit assessment skills incorporation (background of sound business lending)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and client focus

Fair level of experience in a corporate/SME or business banking environment

Demonstrated understanding of small/medium business needs and expectations

Ability to work autonomously, work with a team and solve problems quickly
