Tasks:
Stationed in IAV's Beijing office, successful candidate will be the one who manages the office's daily business. He/she will be expected to take on the responsibilities as the internal counterpart for all business development issues with IAV Shanghai Ltd. and the mother company in Germany. To be successful in this position, he/she will be responsible for the business development of our company in the automotive engineering market in the greater Beijing area. He /she will work closely with related technical units in IAV Shanghai Ltd. & IAV in Germany. He/she will manage the existing customers in Beijing area well-known within the automotive industry and further develop the business opportunities with our target customers. He/she will also be responsible for the required market study / customer assessment and provide the sales plan/strategy to the IAV Shanghai Ltd. Management. A further responsibility will be establishing a network with Chinese Universities / Institutes in the Beijing area and to build up a solid foundation for IAV Beijing's future headcount.

Requirements:
For this senior position we are looking for a candidate with an internationally recognised Master's Degree, preferably with both an economical and a technical background. Thorough knowledge of the automotive development process as well as an excellent understanding of the legal business environment in China are essential. To succeed in this challenging position, the successful candidate will provide at least 5 years of working experience on the Chinese market, including preferrably some years in a key account management position. We are looking forward to applicants with a strong team spirit while at the same time being independent-working, well-organised, problem solving with strong self-motivation and networking skills. The candidate should be able to perform his/her excellent communication and presentation skills in both the Mandarin and English language. German as a 3rd language along with a high awareness for Chinese and western culture would be a clear advantage. Ideally the candidate will have working experience in both the Chinese and Western culture.
