RESPONSIBILITIES
? Match-up and code accounts payable paperwork on a daily basis.
? Assist with the preparation of month-end journal entries, as necessary.
? Maintain vendor listing and vendor deposits/prepayment schedules.
? Assist with monthly account analysis on accounts payable accounts.
? Post records and match checks with invoices for payables and file.
? Verify/review accounts payable statements received from vendors to ensure accuracy of information.
? Prepare invoices with proper G/L coding for payment and assist with the preparation of weekly check run.
? Interact with purchasing to ensure all purchase orders have receipts and proper G/L codes.
? Treat Laird Technologies customers, suppliers and each other with respect and integrity.
? Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
? Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

REQUIREMENTS
? Good PC skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
? Strong organizational skills
? Excellent communication skill, both written and oral
? High level of attention to detail
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
? High school diploma or its equivalent. Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
? Less than 2 years experience in an accounting related function preferred
