Position: Business Development Manager – Beijing or Shanghai
Our client is a global product development consultancy, with offices worldwide They are an award winning firm that develops products from design through manufacturing for top clients in the consumer, healthcare, industrial and packaging markets. In order to grow the business in China, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated:
Business Development Manager
This key business development role will operate within the organization's product development structure with the main goal of identifying and qualifying new business leads and opportunities, directing and ensuring ongoing business growth and the strategic planning and relationship management of existing client programs. This role requires an individual who demonstrates a high level of energy and persistence, superior consulting knowledge and has a polished, consultative delivery style appropriate for creating trust and confidence in potential clients.
Main duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
Frequent, regular and methodical prospecting (cold calls).Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision making client management personnel as relates to outsourcing product development programs.
- Create quality proposals to address the identified, qualified and specific needs of clients and drive new business into the firm.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling design capability and sales presentations
- A strong emphasis and ability to close business with prospective clients
- 5+ years of demonstrated, consultative business development expertise with a product development or similar professional services firm
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to recognize and communicate Radius’ value proposition in building client brand value and promote Radius’ market leadership
- High level of confidence to cold call and qualify prospective clients and close business
- Proactive, self directed individual with the ability to operate with minimal direction
- Results driven team player
- Bachelors degree required
