Business Development Manager—3M China Automotive

SUMMANRY OF THE ROLE

There is going to be significant focus of our client in COEM segment to pursue aggressive penetration growth through the innovated construction of product portfolio with Global Resource leverage.

The Business Development Manager, will act as an integral responsibility to cross function with global view allign with customer oversea strategy

Acting as Business Development Manager for COEM, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy in line with the profitable growth plan for LCV customer, while further enhancing the company’s reputation as a high quality supplier and innovation leader.

THE JOB RESPONSIBLITY

The candidate’s responsibilities are as follows:
l To implement Chinese OEM (COEM) 5 year Strategy
l To Develop the Field Market 5 Years Business Development Plan to accelerate the Penetration (UPR) growth
l Identify the potential opportunity, test the opportunity through working with KAMs and field value studying to find the common sense in special market segment, such as Light Commercial Vehicle and so on
l Leverage cross function resource to develop new product/application and delivery reasonable strategy to feed the fiend market to maximize business growth
l Work with marketing & R&D team to complete new product/application first commercialization cycle in COEM
l To lead pilot projects to validate the opportunity, form strong value proposition offering with the integration of the existed core product portfolio to make customized solution for COEM
l Closely contact with GBDM for NPI indentify with COEM input to leverage global resource for localization

PREREQUISITES

l Bachelor’s degree or above
l Proven successful performance engagement in Automotive Sales, Marketing and Business Development function with minimum 8 years’ working experience
l Multi National Corporation experience is a must
l Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment
l Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with both inside and outside people
l Ability to organize and prioritize workload; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
l Excellent communication and interpersonal, presentation & influencing skill;
l Result-driven
l Solid computer skills with software applications proficiency not limited to PPT and Excel
l Fluent English skill both in oral and writing
l Able to travel frequently domestic and globally
