Key Objectives
- Corporate Audit is a Group function performing worldwide audits on behalf of the BMW Board. The role involves audits of Asian/Pacific based activities of the BMW Group, in addition to working occasionally in international teams in other BMW Group locations worldwide.

- The post holder is required to indicate risks in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and implementation of strategy in the areas of Finance and Administration, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Financial Services, Purchasing and IT.

- The position entails the full range of modern auditing work, including financial, operational and management auditing as well as fraud auditing.

Major Responsibilities
- Expected to apply and uphold the following principles: integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and competency.

- One of the key objectives of the role is to improve profitability of the analyzed business processes and to support the management at all levels in controlling the business risks.

- To create measures together with functional management for risk reduction and for improving profitability and compliance (consultancy element).

- Responsibility for planning and conducting audits, communicate the results to management and follow-up the implementation of the audit recommendations (changes). Influence implementation of best practice processes across the BMW Group.

- Intensive interaction with all levels of management and external partners of the BMW Businesses (e.g. suppliers). - To compile audit reports (English), which will be issued to the responsible Executive Board Member of the BMW Group. The audit results are communicated in the form of presentations and audit reports to the responsible senior management.

- To assist head of Corporate Audit Asia, Pacific with: general department management, reporting and strategic and resource planning. the risk assessment and development of the Strategic and Annual Audit Plans.

- Establish contact, maintain and expand relationship with the other Corporate Audit departments worldwide as well as with the managers of local entities in the APAC region to share knowledge/experience.

- Contribute to Corporate Audit department through participation in International Audit Conference and through joint international audits.

Education / Degree
- Master in Business Administration/ Commerce/ Finance or Economics or engineering degree plus degree in economics. - Semester abroad and/or international internship are seen as advantageous to ensure a smooth adaptation in international surroundings.

- Professional qualifications (e.g. Certified Auditor / Certified Internal Auditor) are advantageous.

Knowledge / Skills / Competences
- Good work in teams or independently, undertake accurate work of a detailed nature is a key element.

- Exposure to automotive industry.

- English and Mandarin needs to be spoken and written fluently.

- German language is desirable.

- Effective oral and written communication skills.

- SAP experience as well as IT literacy (e.g. WORD and EXCEL).

Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience of internal/external auditing, controlling, consulting or project management and project review.

- BMW Group working experience with substantiated knowledge is advantageous.

- Experience within the area of Financial Services would be advantageous.
