Key Objectives
Be responsible for the transition of BMW Connected Drive into production and maintainance in China and serve other Asian markets as the continental hub.

Major Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the overall ConnectedDrive infrastructure of the Asian hub
Develop solutions for Asian markets in the BMW ConnectedDrive, MINI Connected and Projekt i worldwide roll-outs
Review Central, Chinese and other Asian markets' concepts and ITPM documents through the project life cycle
Ensure the security of the CD Asian hub, it's operations and all local installations supervised from China
Co-ordinate worldwide infrastructure changes, product development and roll-out of new technologies
Design, maintain and continously enhance the CD architecture of the Asian hub (China) and the local access points in all other markets in close co-ordination with FZ-3 and -4
Audit the technical and prcedural security at BMW operations and CD suppliers on a regular basis
Ensure Problem-, Change- and Incident Management processes are conducted according to specification
Ensure the Capacity Management at VS-6, FZ-2..4 and all suppliers is co-ordinated and meets BMW business growth at all times

Education / Degree
Master degree or above in Information Technlogy

Knowledge / Skills / Competences
Broad know how on communications infrastructure, server infrastructure and large scale installations
J2EE, Oracle, BEA Weblogic / Glassfish knowledge
Network routing, load balancing, proxies and firewalls
Telematics products in automotive industry
Systems administration, Linux experience
High English language skills (fluent, writing..), preferably good German language skills
ITIL processes
Communication skills
Team player with high self motivation

Experience
Working experience in an international enterprise
Experience on Telematics products and business processes
IT Network and application development
IT Project Management experiences

　　The BMW Group is one of the most successful manufacturers of automobiles and motorcycles in the world with its BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brands. As a global company, the BMW Group operates 24 production facilities in 13 countries and has a global sales network in more than 140 countries.

　　The BMW Group achieved a global sales volume of approximately 1.46 million automobiles for the 2010 financial year. Revenues for 2010 totalled euro 60.477 billion. At 31 December 2010, the company employed a global workforce of 95,453 associates.

　　In 1994 April, BMW Group established the representative office in Beijing, which is recognized as BMW’s official entry to Chinese market. In 2005 October, BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd. was established as another milestone of BMW’s long term commitment to Chinese market.

　　By both import and local production, BMW has introduced all product series to Chinese market including 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, X, Z, M series as well as MINI and Rolls-Royce brands. In the year of 2010, BMW has sold 168,998 cars in Mainland China, which made China the 3rd largest market in BMW’s global sales network.
