- For Corporate Technology, We are looking for a System Engineer in Shanghai.

What are my responsibilities?
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, upgrade, modify and maintain reference and project specific fuel gas, fuel oil auxiliary systems, related components (incl. reservoirs, heat exchangers, pumps, filters, valves, actuators, drives) related instrumentation (incl. pressure, differential pressure, flow, temperature, level, position and speed measurement) incl. wiring and piping and related functional automation specification descriptions (open / close loop control, protection, monitoring, supervisory functions) for large gas turbine. Apply or modify actual designs for customer orders, develop new designs and suppliers for new gas turbine frames, new applications and new market requirements.

Tasks:
- Develop and modify piping and instrumentation diagrams (schematics), related system functional descriptions, component and piping requirement specifications, bill of materials, instrumentation and control descriptions
Check, analyze and improve designs in relation to standards and codes, efficiency, reliability and cost requirements in gas turbine application
- Perform flow and pressure loss calculation in fuel gas and fuel oil system, to evaluate required system pressure input and flow distribution to consumers
- Create and revise automation specifications to operate, protect operation of GT in advanced modes
- Review and develop instrumentation and control systems to reduce complexity, increase availability and extend operation range
- Participate and perform design reviews, conduct HAZOP and FMEA studies during development process, on customer and official authority request
- Provide acquisition and commissioning support including product change management. General tasks done out of office, on site inspections and testing will occur
- Support sales units in the bidding, commissioning and project transfer phase
- Conduct supplier and manufacturing qualification for system components

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Good knowledge of gas turbine or steam turbine auxiliary systems
- Good experience of gas turbine or steam turbine auxiliary system designs
- Experience in instrumentation, controls or commissioning of lube and lifting oil systems and included components or of similar fluid systems
- Experience in open and closed loop controls or related program design
- On site experience in erection, commissioning or maintenance of turbo engines, auxiliary systems or equivalent equipment
- Basic knowledge in turbo machinery or turbo machine design
- Basic knowledge of design and manufacturing costs
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- English language skills are essential. Fluent English in reading, writing and communication required.
- Chinese language
- Project management and presentation skills are appreciated
- Strong interpersonal skill to work with multi-cultural colleagues, customers, experts and university associates
