Mission
The position supports the PSA Excellence System (PES) Lean deployment plan for PSA China Tech Center as Excellence Entity in order to accelerate the PES implementation, align with global plan and increase performance. The PES manager will be part of the China Tech Center managing board. This role will be hands on with a focus on teaching, doing and transferring best practices.

PSA Excellence System (PES) is our initiative aimed to reduce waste, improve operational efficiency, increase cost saving and quality to meet our customers’ expectations. The biggest benefit, largely invisible, but with a direct correlation to many hard metrics, is the cultural change that will accompany the knowledge transfer of Lean Skills deployment.
Major Responsibilities
Enhance Lean management standards =
- Bringing PES Best Practices and knowledge into the organization
- Organize feedback to improve central Lean management standards and tools
- Encourage Networking and be the catalyst in best practice sharing
- Give to the Director of the China Tech Center a clear overview of lean status within the organization
- Conducting Lean Maturity Assessment

Teaching and coaching to deploy Lean management knowledge and awareness =
- Ability to teach classes on advanced lean tools and lean leadership
- Teaching, coaching and certifying Lean audit teams and green belt network
- Teaching, coaching to develop managers skills on PES and Elementary Units PES achievement
- Coach process owners and greenbelt for their own workshops

Managing PES strategy for the China Tech Center and animating Black Belt lean workshops =
- Support the Excellence entity’s annual objectives contract definition, implementation and follow-up
- Define the PES strategy according to the maturity
- Identify key workshops to improve efficiency
- Animate and Manage Black Belt lean workshops (defining work plans, coordinating team members)
Technical Skills
- Automotive R&D experience
- Expert lean level knowledge with demonstrated experience - Black Belt mandatory
- Able to teach, mentor and coach other advanced lean practitioners
- Vehicle or Engine project development experience is a plus
