Embedded Software Developer in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)

Job Description:
1. Embedded Software development including driver development and architecture specific code optimization.
2. System performance analysis including memory bandwith, CPU load, and GPU load.
3. Closely working with other R&D centers and business units of Harman worldwide.
4. Representing the department in automotive OEM project management towards other internal units, external suppliers or clients
5. Implementation of algorithms that are relevant for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, in particular algorithms for
-Image and video processing
-Graphics processing
-Camera control
-Multiple camera video processing
-Feature detection, extraction, and classification

Qualification:
1. MS or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with special focus on image / video processing or computer vision.
2. 2+ years of working experience in relevant fields.
3. Special knowledge in embedded Software development on at least one of the following platforms
-TI OMAP, or Jacinto
-FreeScale i.MAX
-ARM Cortex A8, including NEON
-Intel X86 (Atom)
-TI C64+, or C67+ DSP
4. Strong software programming skills (C / C++).
5. Strong background in at least one of the following areas
-Image and video signal processing
-OpenGL, OpenVG
6. Good written and spoken English language.
7. Good communication skill.
8. Good self-sufficiency.
9. High degree of initiative and responsibility.
10. Capable of working on a project in a worldwide multisite environment.
