1. PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide process and application support to projects associated with the Liquids/Solids Programs. Schedule in-house and on site assignments to support customer requirements. Function as a process engineer for the design and customization expectation of end-user. Support local hands-on process training, process development activities, presentations, codes and compliance management.

Provide expertise as process engineer for development and optimization of process design to meet customer needs, evaluation of process input from customer, check/review process design and selections to facilitate applications, documentation and drawings reviews. Coordinate with Regional Sales Manager to support Local Channel Partners to promote products and market expansion programs.

2. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· According to market strategy develop detail process/application design specifications with Sales Manager, Business Units and Channel Partners to support local needs.

· Develop process design based on data received from customer and other sources, including process specification, details from questionnaire, equipment and process description, etc.

· Lead and review testing needs to support sales forecast, develop monthly tests and field support reports and maintain application database.

· Provide process calculations as required to support application needs.

· Review leads from exhibitions and marketing to recommend/support equipment and process selection including customer visits with Channel Partners.

· On site startup support including SAT, IQ/OQ and PQ activities. Manage service contracts.

· Communicate with BU experts for process, application and product needs.

· Responsible to manage, maintain and operate specific equipment at COE test lab.

· Review and update local process design codes and standards on an ongoing basis.

3. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

· 3-5 years experience in Pharma/Food/Personal Care will be an asset.

· Good knowledge and technical aptitude for process design, familiar with design procedures and exposure to electrical and/or PLC would be an asset.

· Familiar with process codes and standard and their implementation.

· Familiar with process instrumentation and software application.

· Team player with good orientation to Sales Support, honesty and serious work attitude

· Effective communication skill with spoken and written English.
