职位描述

Pre-Requisite skill sets:

1. Degree in business, mass communication or related disciplines with at least 3 years relevant working experience

2. B2B event background is an advantage

3. Excellent oral and written communication (English and Chinese) with strong interpersonal skills

4. Computer literacy and database management skills are important

5. Must be a team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision

6. Multi tasked, attention to details and self driven

7. Able to work under pressure.


Overall Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparation, implementation and execution of conference plans

2. Lead conference planning activities and work closely with project team and event partners

3. Develop and build rapport with industry professionals, associations and government bodies

4. Work closely with project director and event partners for budget planning, forecasts, program development, speaker and delegate recruitment and overall event execution


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Set and oversee all conference budget, forecasts and manage accordingly.

2. Implement conference planning, research, program development, formulate program fee structure and pitch for industry and association support, third party consultant and partner liaison, speaker appointment and liaison, event marketing and promotion, website maintenance.

3. Responsible for all event logistics.

4. Provide efficient and effective service to organizing committees and advisors, support and advice on policy and procedures related to the events.

5. Source, develop and maintain conference database.

6. Conduct telephone or face to face meetings for group delegate recruitment.

7. Plan and drive telesales on delegate recruitment.

8. Plan and design sponsorship packages and work with sales team to execute.

9. Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports:

1) Program and speaker updates

2) Revenue forecasts

3) Competitive event reports

4) Market analysis and comparison reports when required.
