Job Description:
Responsible for the Leading Project / Integration engineering activities for the Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
· Responsible for DCS System Hardware/ Integration engineering activities from FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) till completion of Project
· Interface with EPC / End users for Project engineering activities.
· Provide Value-added engineering solutions to meet EPC/End-users’ expectations, such as 3rd party integration, resale engineering etc.
· Lead & manage a pool of Project engineers for Hardware/ Integration engineering activities & Report to Project Manager.
· Develop Basic & Detailed Design specifications for System Architecture, System Hardware/Nest loading, Marshalling/system cabinet’s design, Resale items engineering, System Sizing including Test Procedures.
· Co-ordinate with Lead System engineer for Hardware integration activities.
· Responsible for engineering standardization with Quality requirements
· Inter-department co-ordination for order processing, procurement, shipping activities including that with 3rd party resale suppliers.
· Supervise/participate in the Hardware design ,& Integration testing activities
· Conduct Hardware Prototype / Factory Acceptance Tests/ 3rd party subsystem interface tests / Site Acceptance Tests.
· Participate in the internal work process improvement activities.


Skills and Requirements:
· Should have Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation)
· Minimum 8~10 years’ experience in DCS engineering activities and at-least 2 years of experience in a Lead position for Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals / Offshore / Power Projects
· Prior Experience in ICS Hardware design, Cabinets design, Computer networking, 3rd party Subsystems integration.
· Experience on Yokogawa’s systems, Field-bus engineering will be an added advantage.
· Hands-on professional with strong relevant technical competence, good leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to multi-task to meet the project delivery requirements.
· Able to travel to overseas on a short notice as per project requirements.
· Positive attitude and can be able to competently accomplish duties and responsibilities after required training.
