Job Description:
Responsible for the Leading System (Application software) engineering activities for the Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
· Responsible for DCS System (Application software) engineering activities from FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) till completion of Project
· Interface with EPC / End users for system integration / application engineering activities.
· Provide Value-added engineering solutions to meet EPC/End-users’ expectations, such as Integration with 3rd Party systems, Network security etc.
· Lead & manage a pool of System engineers for application software engineering activities & Report to Project Manager.
· Responsible for engineering standardization with Quality requirements
· Co-ordinate with Lead Project engineer for System software integration activities
· Develop Basic & Detailed Design specifications for Controls, HMI, 3rd Party Sub-systems integration, Foundation Field bus, Wireless, System Sizing including L2/L3 Network Design, Test Procedures.
· Supervise/participate in the Application engineering generation & debugging activities
· Conduct Software Prototype / Factory Acceptance Tests/ 3rd party subsystem interface tests / Site Acceptance Tests.
· Participate in the internal work process improvement activities.

Skills and Requirements:
· Should have Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation)
· Minimum 8~10 years’ experience in DCS Engineering activities and at-least 2 years of experience in a Lead position for Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals / Offshore / Power Projects
· Prior Experience in ICS Application configuration, Computer networking, 3rd party Subsystems integration.
· Experience on Yokogawa’s systems, Field-bus engineering, OPC integration, will be an added advantage.
· Hands-on professional with strong relevant technical competence, good leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to multi-task to meet the project delivery requirements.
· Able to travel to overseas on a short notice as per project requirements.
· Positive attitude and can be able to competently accomplish duties and responsibilities after required training.
