Job Description:

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver compliant and high quality safety solutions to customers
• Responsible for functional design, hardware design, application development, internal test, customer inspection and commissioning of safety systems
• Provide Value-added engineering solutions to meet EPC/End-users’ requirements
• Strictly follow Functional Safety Management procedure to ensure delivery of SIL compliant safety solutions
• Track the progress of safety portion of the assigned project and ensure completeness within budget and overall schedule
• To carry out front-end design activities and advise customers about international practices and new methodologies

Skills and Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in electrical/electronic engineering with 10 years working experience
• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Safety instrumented systems (ESD/BMS/FGS/HIPPS for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry projects).
• Preference would be given to those familiar with generation of application logic from Cause & Effect/Relay/process narratives
• Exposure to IEC61508/61511 safety standards would be an added advantage
• Technically savvy and possess foresightedness to look out for potential risks and ensure preventive measures
• A team player with excellent analytical and planning skills
• Certification by TUV for functional safety management would be an added advantage.
• Positive attitude and can be able to competently accomplish duties and responsibilities after required training.
