Relationship Manager, Retail Banking Shanghai

Proactively determining customer needs and actively selling the bank's range of transactional and relationship products and services to meet identified needs, and close on referrals
Good understanding of the broad product range and be able to effectively discuss, complete the sale and or refer if required
Develop organization-based relationships, using excellent customer service skills and ensure the customer's transactional and basic relationship banking requirements are satisfied
Provide efficient service to individual customers by performing the full range of bank procedures and transactions, including closing the sale
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a current knowledge of CBRC/PBOC and SAFE regulations
Develop comprehensive knowledge of XXX products
Develop knowledge of XXX asset writing strategy and risk & credit processes
Ensure proper record keeping for internal audit & business continuity purposes

Requirements
A degree in accounting/finance or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of relevant work experience with a broad exposure to banking preferred
Strong self-management and decision making skills
Excellent communication skills (in both English and Chinese) and the confidence to interact with both Chinese and English speakers and to present to larger audiences
A well developed lateral thinking ability and the confidence to take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement these improvements
Proven business development experience and achievement in China
Strong relationship network and influencing skills
Sales and marketing experience
Skilled in spoken and written English & Mandarin
