职位描述

Related areas of Responsibility

1. Direct and Indirect Purchasing
-Identify potential suppliers, develop supplier base and recommend for global sourcing and JV;
-Conduct regular supplier visits, regular supplier seminar, business meetings Build relationships with GPSC global teams
-Manage China supply base for local business, potential and current.
-Work with global GPSC to support China JVs in implementing the global vehicle programs
-Manage China supplier base risks, Regular checking supplier financial situation and viability concerns.

2. Supplier Quality
-Work involves functioning as technical liaison between Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement and manage advanced quality planning, and provide technical support.
-Using independent jud ent within the limits of general practices and standards.
-Work involves giving technical direction or training to employees.
-Responsible managing country requirements to insure successful program launches and plant quality targets are met.
-Quality issues resolution and suppliers quality improvements

3. Supply Chain
-Implement common SC business processes and systems
- Order, maintain and control material flow chains from supplying points, Maintain correct levels of inventory and keep within agreed financial levels of approved inventory holding.
- Ensure stock quality protected until called to dealers, support sales in dealer allocation and actual final delivery.
-Manage finished vehicle inventories and coordinate scheduling actions to balance with VSSM.
-Ensure all program launches, vehicle and Powertrain, meet all supply chain deployment deliverables in a timely manner.
-Source, contract, control and manage all third party supply chain providers. Suppliers, logistics, external warehousing, part preparation and sequencing, receipt, storage and line-side delivery. Ensuring adequate levels of security maintained.

4. Train and develop a competent local GPSC team
Actively work on people training and development to ensure a local JV GPSC team being established and capable of managing JV businesses

IV. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies

1. 10 years working experiences in the area of PUR, SQ,SCN,ENG,MFG, QLT, etc in automotive industry (OEMs or Suppliers)

2. Minimum 3-5 years people management experience.

3. Strong communication skills
-Strong skills in oral and written English and Mandarin language Knowledge,
-Effective communication capability
-Good presentation skills

4. Good team work capability

5. Experience in managing difficult situation,
-can work under pressure,
-new project /task management skill,
-Strong problem solving capability, etc.
-Good at finding different ways to reach an agreement when conflicts present

6. Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in business or engineering related
