Position: Project Engineer -World Famous Manufacturing Company
Report to: Sr. Engineering Manager

Criticality of Position & How Related to Growth:
? Company's business profile mix is changing from Household customers with few projects and large volume per projects to Prestolite and Specialty customers with significantly more projects and smaller volumes per project. Compared to last year, our project volume is up 30%, and we are projecting significant growth in the number of new projects. This is driven by last year hiring of additional salespeople in Asia and the aggressive drive of the Prestolite team. Margins from these revenues are significantly better than from Household projects. This position is critical to us being able to execute on these growth projects.

Responsibilities:
? Compute and design PMDC and drive motor structure according to customer's requirements and related regulations.
? Meet suppliers and qualify capability of suppliers
? Direct interface with customer for solution discussion
? Work with cross function team to achieve success of projects
? On site samples building and on site test
? Identify criteria and set reasonable specification for material and product

Requirements:
? Bachelor or master degree in mechanical major or related
? More than 8 years' work experience
? Knowledge of mechanical computing and manufacturing process
? Knowledge of material property including thermal plastic, sintered, machining metal.
? Good communication and interpersonal skill, team spirit
? Be able to use Pro/E and AutoCAD
? Good command of English
