Position: Sr. Manager AP Business Intelligence
Reporting to: Asia Pacific VP IT (foreigner, based in HK)
Subordinates: 4 direct and 3 dotted line reports

Job Description
? To provide the appropriate quality of information from varying IT source systems to every level of the company business across AP. To drive the strategy, relevance and use of the Business Intelligence team/platform across the AP region.
? The incumbent will align with business and technical stakeholders through the use of roadmaps, project portfolio management and strong interpersonal relationships. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders to determine and define their business information needs. In addition the incumbent will work with; Field Applications, SAP Manufacturing, SAP Field, PDM and CAD groups to design construct and deliver data cubes/structures that will facilitate the extraction of appropriate information through tools such as Business Objects.
? The incumbent will be a key contributing member of the AP leadership team. Responsible for the development, maintenance, analysis and improvement of applications within and interfaced to the Manufacturing business, coordinating and cooperating with the various regional IT teams.
? Major focuses for this position include:
? 20% on Developing Business Alignment
? 40% on New Application Realization, Rollout and Governance
? 20% on Existing application development, streamlining and maintenance
? 20% on Managing and leading cross regional team
? Contribute to the development of new applications within the business in terms of performing analysis and presenting business plans.
? Develop, execute and continually refine application maintenance and development plans.
? Lead and coordination functions in the management of IT in the BU, both general IT management and applications
? Jointly develop and maintain high quality Application documentation standards and templates to be used to maintain documentation of BU applications.
? Proactively identify new IT applications that could benefit the business and determine the feasibility/priority of deploying them based on objective business analysis.
? Participate and contribute to the IT budgeting process at the business unit and operating group level.
? Co-operate and coordinate with Regional Center & Global IT departments as required and maximize the collective benefits of these interactions to the Group.
? Ensure that all applications are cost effectively secured, documented and in use as intended within the business.
? Carry out periodic audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as to ensure applications are being optimally maintained.
? Generally contribute to the efforts and mission of the IT department within company.
Requirement
? At least 10-15 years of solid IT experience with strong analytical and leadership abilities.
? Has led an SAP BI/Business Objects deployment.
? SAP knowledge required.
? Fluent in English
? Degree Level, preferable with Master's degree.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suited to working within a decentralized matrix management structure
? Structured Project Management experience
