Key Responsibilities



· Liaises with channel partners, end users, officials, and other influencers to effectively implement desired and realistic biological positioning in dealer and user programs.

· Assists with Understand Customer Needs (UCN) efforts with regard to biological questions and translate them into research projects.

· Transfer product knowledge and provide technical service to sales, dealers, retailers and growers.

· Defines local biological questions to address challenges related to product positioning, and reaches agreement with commercial team.

· Contributes to case building for new projects.

· Coordinate with internal functions, external dealers and retailers to deal with end-user complaints.

· Regularly visit agronomy trial and demonstration plots to observe product performance for better understanding of product characteristics and traits.

· Access agricultural, ecological and economic information in relevant resources, and to transfer the information into the field.

· Interacts with biology and technical teams to define the objectives and reasons for trials work. Contributes to the completion of attributes list and their weighting in Star Charts for key products.

· Attends biology review meetings, for relevant projects, and represents local needs.

· Contributes local agronomy know-how to protocol design and implementation of projects.




Requirements


· Strong knowledge in agricultural chemical (especially in herbicide and insecticide) and agronomy areas.

· Experience and solid understanding of agronomy, pesticide industry and customer's needs.

· Continuously improve major work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

· Maintain good relationship, and establish networking with local and global teams.

· Be able to handle multi-tasks under pressure.




Qualifications


· A minimum of a Master Degree in plant protection, biological sciences, agriculture, environmental sciences, or other related areas.

· Education and experience in weed science, entomology or crop disease management is preferred.

· A Ph.D. degree in the above areas is preferred.

· Minimum of three years experience in agricultural area.

· Field study experience is a plus.

· Excellent English and mandarin communication skills.

· Good interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and great team player.
