职位描述

目的
?领导科研项目的建立和正在进行的科研计划,中国科学实验室内的世界一流的分析实验室的收购和经营;开展和研究驱动性项目,提出革新性的分析技术,保持有效的日常业务,并维持目前的分析技术以确保有一个高输出的研究环境。
责任范围
主要职责
1.创新:10%
?为该地区的化学分析新一代的创新想法和计划组建和带领团队,包括金属,有机物和涂料方面。
?为GM材料和工艺分析评估和推荐购置新的创新技术和概念。
?以新的途径整合内部和外部知识以强化计划。
?专注于重要问题和工作要点。
2.提供技术领导:50%
?提供技术领导并指导他/她的团队,积极从事各自的技术工作和在全球范围内的其他合作。
?建议,启动,计划,执行,和终止的探索性研究项目。
?查明,分析,并报告当前和新出现的全球技术的趋势和问题。
?领导战略和战术计划以支持研发和创新团队。
?为全球创新项目提供资源和指导工作。
?与全球管理层和员工(内部和外部)交流信息。
?协助实验室的发展目标和目的。

?参与新的员工选择。

4.行政支持30%
?计划和管理预算和合理利用资源。
?坚持公司政策和程序(即内部控制等)。
?确保员工都能够了解化学卫生计划内容,个人防护设备的有效性,并确保工人得到适当的培训。
?在指定实验室贯彻化学和物理危害知识。
?进行年度实验室检验,为化学卫生官员与文件记录和董事会提供化学中卫生计划执行规则。
?满足最后期限。

知识:
?有广博电化学能量存储系统知识
?对锂离子电池电极涂层技术要有深刻理解和实践经验
?在锂离子电池的制造和测试方面要至少5年的工作经验
?有干/无尘实验室的加工经验
?在EV 和HEV的应用有较强的背景
技能:
?有较好的独立和团队工作能力
?良好的英语口语及书面表达能力
?至少在一个分析化学的领域中有能够证明的技能(出版物),如X射线衍射(XRD),荧光(XRF),光谱,或色谱法

Areas of Responsibility:
1. Innovation:
? Generate and lead teams for the generation of innovative ideas and plans in the area of chemical analysis including metals, organics and coatings.
? Evaluate and recommend acquisition of new innovative technologies and concepts for the analysis of materials and processes.
? Integrate internally and externally developed knowledge in new ways to enhance the enterprise.
? Focus on important issues and work “smart”.
2. Provide technical leadership
? Provide technical leadership and guidance to his/her team, actively engaging in technical work individually and/or in collaboration with others globally.
? Propose, initiate, plan, execute, and terminate exploratory research projects.
? Identify, analyze, and report on current and emerging global technology trends and issues.
? Conduct strategic and tactical planning in support R&D and the global innovation teams.
? Provide resources and conduct work for global innovation programs.
? Communicate information to global management and employees (internally and externally).
? Assist in the development of laboratory goals and objectives.
? Support global customer development projects.
? Link with corporate and/or development supplier partners globally.
? Leverage with both local and global universities and research institutes.
? Take responsibility for team milestones and deliverables.
3. Conduct people-related functions
? Participate in the selection of new employees.
? Train and develop subordinates (mentor/coach).
? Evaluate employee performance, bring problem performance issues to lab director’s attention, and help resolve problems.
? Support lab director in development of compensation recommendations.
? Assist in human resource deployment efforts, redirecting as needed to meet project needs.
? Support corporate initiatives of diversity, employee enthusiasm, etc.
? Engage the team to accomplish high quality and fast delivery.
? Monitor employee work to ensure task completion.
? Celebrate wins and seek recognition internally and externally for accomplishments of team members.
4. Provide administrative support
? Plan and manage budget and use resources effectively.
? Adhere to policies and procedures (i.e., internal controls, etc.).
? Ensure workers are aware of the contents of the Chemical Hygiene Plans, personal protective equipment is available, and the worker has received the proper training.
? Maintain knowledge of the chemical and physical hazards in assigned laboratories.
? Perform an annual laboratory inspection, provide the Chemical Hygiene Officer with documentation for directorate record keeping, and enforce the rules contained in the Chemical Hygiene Plans.
? Meet administrative deadlines.
? Respond to special tasks and assignments

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Knowledge:
? Extensive knowledge of electrochemical energy storage systems
? Deep understanding and hands-on experience of lithium ion battery electrode coating technique
? Minimum 5 years of experience in lithium ion cell fabrication and testing
? Experience with dry/clean room processing
? Strong background in battery testing protocols for EV and HEV application
Skills:
? Ability to work both independently and in teams
? Good oral and written English language skills
? Demonstrated skill (publications) in at least one area of Analytical Chemistry such as XRD, XRF, Spectroscopy, or Chromatography
? Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects
? Ability to develop direct reports
? Ability to manage people and lead research projects
? Demonstrated technical leadership with high level of analytical ability and creativity
? Highly developed ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners

Experience/Education:
? M.S. Chemistry + 8 years R&D work experience, or PhD + 5 years R&D work experience including methods development.
? Broad experience in chemical analysis and surface science techniques
