About the job:
Responsibilities include various tasks related to daily transactions and monthly accounting activities. Provide necessary supportive to financial analysis. Supervise AR accountant, AP accountant and Cashier, for the 2 legal entities in China including a branch office, which offers shared services for CDS, CLS, DMPK, SA and DTS.

Responsiblities:
. Oversee the A/R day to day process to ensure the accurate and timely revenue recognition, billings and collections.
. Oversee the bank payments (CNY and foreign currency) day to day process to ensure the accurate, timely and compliance.
. Process T&E expenses, perform post audit review for T&E expenses and make the recommendation for improvements.
. Excellent interpersonal skill in order to become a resource to vendors, clients and employees. Ability to resolve the questions/issues raised from internal employees and external vendors/clients.
. Identify the areas that need to be improved for both A/P, A/R and Cash management, make the recommendation to the management.
. Potential ability to be involved with GL activities including month end close, preparation or review of journal entries and B/S reconciliation, variance analysis and reporting.
. Supervise A/P accountant, A/R accountant and Cashier. Manage their work and delegate the responsibilities. Assess their performance and make the recommendation for their career improvement.
. Assist with SOX testing and internal and external audit relate to A/P, A/R and Cash management areas.

Education/Qualifications
-CPA is preferred
-B.S in accounting is required


Experience
-More than 5 years experience in accounting including at least 3 years experience in A/P and A/R, preferable with a US based company.
-Strong communication skills and accounting experience are required.
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines, willingness to work over time, and a professional / team player attitude are essential for success in this role
-Experience with Peoplesoft or Oracle is preferred.
-Intermediate to use of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
-Team oriented, ability and willingness to manager and develop others
-Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with multiple operating units.
-Excellent written and oral in English is preferred
-Knowledgeable in Peoplesoft accounting software is preferred
