Responsibilities:
? The project engineer "New Energy Vehicle Solutions" is responsible for projects in the NEV domain by means of focusing on customer requirements for ECU (electronic control unit) development for battery, fuel cell, e-motor applications along the entire V-cycle and their combinations with traditional automotive systems.
? Technical introduction of ETAS NEV solutions and product to Chinese customers
? Lead/clarify customer requirements and prepare suitable system configurations based on ETAS products and services
? Analysis and definition of customer requirements
? Technical consulting and demonstrations
? Provide System/Product Training to customers
?


Requirements:

Working experience:
? 5 years technical experience with real-time automotive control systems preferably in the area of new energy vehicles
? 3 years experience in software development for embedded systems or hardware-in-the-loop simulation

Education:
? University degree in a technical field related to electronics or software,
? Skills related to control of electrical machines or experience in the NiMH-/Li- battery domain are welcome

Skills / Abilities:
? native in Chinese (mandarin), fluent in English language
? excellent understanding about the control strategies in at least one of the following areas:
engine control, transmission control, chassis control, E-motor control, battery control for E-vehicles
? experience with modeling tools (Matlab / Simulink, ASCET)
? understanding the development process of automotive control software
? knowledge about the electric specification of automotive electronic control units
? good analytic skills
? capability to integrate and work in a multinational team
? willingness to travel frequently within China
