Responsibilities:


Continuous Improvement:
Implement and control a continuous improvement process of all Supplier Quality Management related processes, guidelines and tools -in close cooperation with the OCs by assessments, benchmarking and best practice sharing programs. Establish quality improvement programs with supplier as part of the development program of suppliers.

Supplier Quality Management System:
Develop and introduce a supplier quality policy, strategy and set quality targets in alignment with the Procurement and Quality Policy of the Sector and Cluster. Define, implement and maintain a network with OC-SQM and SM to share competence and best practices;
Define guidelines on Sector-Level for establishing and maintaining the appropriate SQM and SM resources and training to ensure consistence in competence, motivation and efficiency of the team;
Governance responsibility for the Supplier Quality Management / Supplier Management functions in the Sector. Define Requirements Supplier Quality Management in global frame contracts with suppliers

Planning and Controlling:
Define, implement and control the target setting process (KPI′s) in alignment with Sector business, quality targets and Cluster requirement. Track the effectiveness of the defined improvement actions. Reporting: Define and install a data evaluation and reporting system for all supplier quality management and supplier management related key process indicators (KPI′s) and publish periodical quality performance reports on sector level and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are initiated;

Quality in Processes and Projects:
Create, implement and control the appropriate procedures, guidelines and tools to control the efficiency of the Supplier (Quality) Management System in order to meet cost, Quality and Productivity targets of the purchasing, quality processes;

Quality-based Supplier Management:

Definition, implementation and controlling of the efficiency and optimization of a Sector Supplier Quality Management System (procedures, guidelines and tools), to ensure the requested quality of the supplied parts and services, based on the Siemens process framework, the legal requirements and the internal and external quality guidelines, in order to meet the quality-, cost- and productivity targets; Enable an effective and efficient cooperation between Siemens and its Suppliers to ensure the best supplier performance. Initiating, implementing, driving and further developing supplier management in methods and processes across the entire sector to provide the basis for the collaboration with the suppliers. Define, introduce and control processes and guidelines for the organization to implement the appropriate supplier quality improvement measures along the complete process for supplied parts and services to guarantee the continuous observation of the quality performance of the supplier;

Audits and assessments:
Framework for supplier audits, assessments, reviews and status meetings. Analysis of the results with definition and effective implementation of appropriate (improvement) measures.

Authorities:
Authority to intervene and escalate to reporting line in functional matters where guidelines, quality-relevant procedures or targets are not complied with. Stop for proceedings, supplies and services in close collaboration with QM and/ or reporting line. Access to all quality-relevant data, e.g. supplier contracts, risk assessments, financial data, project plans, agreed targets.



Requirements:


? Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering is preferred
? At least 5 years working experience in mechanical or electronic production, multinational corporation work experience is a plus
? At least 5 years supplier management and development experience
? Knowledge about CMM measurement is preferred
? Familiar with ISO 9001requirement and application on APQP is preferred.
