Main Purpose of the Role:
Summary:
The Application Engineer MOCVD is responsible for identifying, reviewing and analyzing customer related issues plus active support reporting to customers regarding to Xycarb Ceramics MOCVD susceptor.
In this position as application engineer, this person should be able to describe problems and collect the data, and report to product manager and business manager accordingly.
A customer vision and position of Xycarb at this customer is being monitored, which is communicated and reported to the product manager, business manager MOCVD and Sales Manager China.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Experience and network in the LED or Semiconductor industry
- Experience working in an international environment
Skills:
- Self starter and capable to work independently
- Proven interpersonal and influencing skills
- Able to build up a good record, report and relationship with customers, engineers
- Clear experience in end-user insight programs, translated into effective concepts
- Knowledge of the semi conductor or LED industry
- Good analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of design-in processes (in release process and testing including electrical, mechanical, physical, safety… etc.).
- Technical understanding (development, production, quality)

- Prepared to travel domestic and overseas, up to 75% working time.
