职位描述

Job title: Technical Sales Manager

Summary of job content:
? Provides technical guidance and support to sales forces, other BU functions, and/or customers on a global basis for assigned product or application/market area and actively contributes to market development.
? Actively in good understanding of target markets and report competition activity.
? Support China implementation of segment strategy, product positioning and price strategy as well as technical support in specific products and industries, primary in China.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Support RSM to execute Product Group and Segment strategies in region
2. Secures product specific application know-how in the region and ensures that regional customers can be called on and served by the region
3. Develops and maintains a deep understanding of customer industries' (segments') needs
4. Monitors regional customer, market & competitor developments (including technologies)
5. Supports development of regional account plans/ OMP
6. Ensures compliance with global and regional policies as defined by Product Groups (e.g. pricing policy, customer segmentation and strategy)
7. Monitors regional product portfolio and brings e.g. quality gaps to attention
8. Supports sales in pricing of demanding and complicated Orders or projects; maintains price history for assigned products as well as updated global market and competitor Information to ensure best position for BU GS pricing efforts (in cooperation with Sales and according to pricing strategy)
9. Prepares and performs product and application training sessions for internal functions (e.g. sales) as well as for customers

Skills:
Technical or commercial degree
Commercial mindset with technical affinity
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken English

Experiences:
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in technical sales of products requiring explanations
Of which min. 2 years experience in
- an international industrial environment
- a complex business environment
- a graphite company or a customer industry
