职位描述

The connected technologies that are planned for vehicles have potential to create valuable new services for customers. This position is to create new revenue-producing relationships with third parties for the benefit of customers. The TELEMATICS Revenue Development Leader in company will identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities designed to help sell more vehicles and meet TELEMATICS revenue objectives. The TELEMATICS target for new revenues is over $100M of new revenue by 2017. To achieve this objective, we need leaders who can effectively create these new opportunities, largely through partnerships with external companies. The Leader in company will focus on building relationships with companies in the region for the benefit of both the company and Global vehicle business.

Evaluate potential new areas for business development. Assess market potential and TELEMATICS revenue potential. Independently select targets for development activity.
Establish and develop contacts at companies in targeted development areas. Interface at senior management levels regarding possible business relationships with company.
Work with representatives of TELEMATICS and outside companies to develop alternative solutions for creation of new revenues. Solutions will include both technical and business/commercial solutions. Conduct financial analysis of alternative solutions and provide recommendations. Negotiate commercial terms with outside parties on behalf of company.
Lead approval process for new business opportunities. Provide initial organization and leadership of implementation efforts for approved new business initiatives.

Knowledge: Technical knowledge of company connected vehicle technologies to develop the possibilities created by their deployment,
Skills: Business skills to create and develop new business concepts, Relationship and sales skills to create a network of contacts and position company as a preferred partner

Experience/Education: At least 10 years business experience, preferably in multiple disciplines. BA or BS degree required, MBA preferred. Must be able to show an ability to both invent and implement new business initiatives successfully.
