Job description
- Research and advance engineering of charging systems for electric vehicles
- Evaluation and reporting about emerging technologies and technological trends in China
- Cooperation with universities and internal partners
Required knowledge competencies and attributes
- Master or PhD degree (preferred) in mechatronics or electrical engineering
- At least 3 years R&D experience in mechanism design of electrical connections / EV charging systems at a university or in the automotive industry; knowledge in robotics a plus
- Knowledge of the EV charging technology trends (conductive and wireless charging), relevant safety and other standards and of the Chinese EV market
- Creativity, ability to develop innovative solutions
- Highly self-motivated team-worker
- Ability to develop technological solutions in a systematic way
- Ability to make plans for development work, experience in project work
- Good communication skills in English (oral and written), good presentation skills, German a plus but not required
