JOB RESPONSIBILITES (If available, please attach RREs)
Responsibilities:
? Lead the growth of Energy Management as a Capability in Asia by practical application of MBM® and the Operations Excellence framework to Asia site and business strategies.
? The position is responsible to lead and challenge the Asia sites in application of Energy-related Compliance programs and Energy management best practice to create value in alignment with site 5 yr improvement plans and overall business objectives.
? Integration of Asia Energy Management with company and KII as a whole.

Expectations:
? Resource Asia region Compliance and EHS teams regarding Energy elements of Compliance plans and strategies.
o Support company-wide Energy Compliance initiatives (lead by NA-based EERC SMO). Lead Asia region Energy Compliance CSO’s.
? Provide technical and operations support on all matters of Energy and Utilities such as: Energy management principles – Training and coaching
? Assessment of current site energy and utilities practices – Review and assess the current state, Gap identification, and opportunities for improvement. Work with site Energy leaders to develop annual and long term site specific Energy plans and Scorecards to track performance.
? Assist sites and Engineering in scope development for energy and utilities capital projects.
? Ensure Energy impact and opportunity is addressed in all capital projects.
? Write reports to summarize results and to recommend savings amounts.
? Lead Asia site Energy Leader networks and exchange knowledge across company and KII.
? Resource Asia region Procurement teams on Energy purchasing strategies

Accountabilities: (for supported Asia sites)
? Energy Management Capability progress as defined by the KII Energy Management Best Practices.
? Captured site Energy cost and efficiency improvement initiatives for performance year and 5 Yr Bets overall.











QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED EDUCATION REQUIRED

? 10 plus years in chemical or manufacturing facility operations - 5 plus years in site or operations utilities systems: Steam boilers, Fired Heaters, Turbine Generators, Air Compressors, Refrigeration Equipment, etc.
? Effective analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
? Experience and demonstrated success in leadership and influence roles.
? Ability to build strong business relationships with all functional areas including, Compliance, Operations Maintenance/Reliability Engineers, Plant Management, Sr. Management, EHS, legal groups, etc.
? Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills – Mandarin, English
? Degreed Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineer
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS PREFERRED EDUCATION PREFERRED



OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Physical Requirements Must be able to travel. Must be able to safely access all areas of company production sites.
