Job Summary

The finance controller for China is responsible overseeing all financial aspects for the China Dealer Services business while safeguarding the Company's assets.

This includes the maintenance of the Company's Books of Accounts and the preparation of financial reports in accordance with Corporate, Legal, and Statutory requirements.



Essential Functions
The essential functions of the position are noted below with the corresponding percentage of time dedicated to this function as compared to responsibilities in total.

1) Statutory Reporting & tax filling (5%) - Work with share service to make sure all transactions are complying with the company policy and procedure while meet statutory request, monthly closing management, account reconciliation.
Ensure annual tax filling meets statutory requirement.

2) Monthly Group Reporting and Business Analysis (20%) -Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial results and they are presented with clear and concise explanations of variances to plan and prior year. Bring management awareness when there is the exposure of meeting target.

3) Q1 Reviews / Operating Plans / 2 Yrs FCST Processes (20%) - Take the lead on developing Q1 Review, Operating Plans and 2 Yrs FCST for China.
? Ensure achieves the reporting timetables and meet regional requirements.
? Prepares the financial reports with structured details as supporting
? Provide ongoing control and business partnership to ensure the achievability

4) Order to Cash Focus (20%) - Primary role is to manage the contract proposal on price, tax and financial terms, as well as debtor/collection actions for SEA. Applying consistent measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to assess the efficiency of the operation.

5) Internal Controls (15%) - To safeguard the Company's assets and ensure the financial controls in place, work with regional team to develop and implement of changes to controls to strengthen the control environment.
Liaise with Internal and External Audit to ensure controls are tested and effective.

6) HR Management (5%): - Recruits, trains, develops, disciplines the team members as required and at all times consistent with good employment practices and Company policies. Ensure all personnel have current job descriptions and performance appraisal.

7) Special Projects / Ad-hoc Analysis (15%) - Conducts special projects and assignments as required. Examples include investment evaluation, tax and pricing analysis. Additionally, assist the line manager on specified tasks.

Qualifications

? Minimum B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
? Software / solutions company work experience is a plus


Scope of Responsibilities

The position is responsible for China business /operation

Organizational Relationships

a) Position reports directly to finance controller, APAC who reports to the international CFO
b) Dotted line repots to Greater China President / GM

Other Job Factors

a) Specific Skills required by this position:
? Strong experience to work with small team on full scope, and a team player within regional finance team.
? Strong, self-reliant personality with good communication skills.
? Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, China reporting,
? Ability to interact and communicate with local and regional executive management and external parties

c) Travel Requirements:
? Approximately 5%. General business trips to Regional office base in Shanghai / DSI finance office in Brussels
