DIRECT MANAGER: Head of Trade Operation
LOCATION: Shanghai



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure smooth running of daily trade operations
• Lead Trade Services team in middle office function for Structured Trade, specifically to:
• Evaluate and ensure that transactions are within the Bank's risk framework
• Monitor and maintain clients' transactions and collateral positions
• Liaise closely with Structured Trade and Commodity Finance team on customer requirements
• Ensure operations are in compliance with Bank's policies, internal and external audit, as well as local regulations
• Partner with Trade Sales and Product teams, Business Units and Branches in delivering premium trade services for Bank's customers
• Continuously seize opportunities to streamline operational process and procedures with corresponding risk controls
• Identify and nurture talent within team, gear up team to keep up to date with changes in market/industry practices
• Ensure team is well versed with Bank's business continuity plans
  
  

SELECTION CRITERIA

• University graduate with at least 5 years experience in trade finance services at middle office or back office functions
• Solid knowledge of UCP600, ISBP, Incoterms, URDG758 and URC522
• Experience in structured trade finance and credit admin are a strong plus
• Familiar with SAFE & PBOC regulations
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Good learning attitude/capacity, willing to work hard and under pressure, and keen to grow
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
