ACS Engineering team delivers the technical platform that is used to deliver the full suite of advanced service offerings for Oracle's vast product portfolio.

Brief Posting Description
Develop, analyze and maintain tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release.

Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Job Requirements
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.

Additional Details
We are looking to add a Configuration Manager to our high performing, agile development team. The primary responsibilities of the Configuration Manager will be to define and implement build and deployment processes, manage multiple deployment environments, and maintain the configuration management library.

Required Skill
Experience administering Java EE Application servers (preferably Glassfish and Weblogic)
Thorough understanding of Apache Maven
Experience with Subversion and/or CVS
Good software packaging skills
Basic Solaris and/or Linux system administration knowledge, including shell scripting
Team leadership experience
Good command of English, written and verbal
BS/MS in computer science or related field

Desired Skills

Experience with Continuous Integration/Build servers (Hudson preferred)
Puppet, CFengine, Control Tier or similar tools
Some programming experience (java preferred)
Project management/coordination skills
Process engineering experience
Agile process experience
