Job Title: Performance Analytics Engineer


Job content:

The Performance Analytics Engineer is responsible for taking data from the Field Services team and trending the data to troubleshoot problems with low NOx installations. S/He will also be responsible for helping with the design stage of new low NOx projects.



Job tasks & Individual assignments:

Analyze data from plant testing and compose succinct summaries of trends and possible solutions to problems;

Investigate alternative ways to improve boiler performance and share the information with the Field Services and Engineering teams;

Assist with design of new low NOx boiler systems;

Develop spreadsheet tools for easily sorting and trending data from performance tests;

Understand and be able to explain the key requirements for Chinese performance testing;

Present results of analysis to company management and to key customers.



Requirements:

Bachelor degree in mechanical design or thermal engineering;

3-5 years of coal-fired boiler performance testing experience;

Strong analytical and thermodynamics background;

Good communication and interpersonal skills;

Read and write in English of business and technical terminology;

Boiler knowledge required.
