Job Description and Responsibilities
· Work directly with customers toresolve/reproduce technical issues.
· Establish and maintain lines ofcommunication with engineering and customer to discuss technical issues.
· Debug software issues such asbootloader, linux kernel and WLAN driver
· Evaluate Wi-Fi throughput,range and performance
· Work with issues in Wi-Fi, IOT, Wi-Fi-Certification and Manufacturing.
· Customize software and driversfor customer’s platform.
· Write technical applicationnotes. Host technical training for internal FAE and external customers.
Skills & Qualifications
· Candidate should have 5-10years of experience in software designing and supporting networking andwireless drivers
· Strong knowledge of Wi-Fiprotocols and throughput analysis using tools – sniffers, spectrumanalyzers,Chariot, iperf etc.
· Candidate should have solidexperience in networking – TCP, UDP,DHCP,NAT,VLAN.
· Candidate should have solidexperience supporting linux on embedded processor platforms.
· Strong problem solving skills.Strong customer facing experience
· Strong written and oralcommunication skills. Good interpersonal skills.
· Video over Wi-Fi experience ispreferable.
Education and Experience
· Bachelors degree in EE or CSrequired. Masters preferred.
· At least 10 years of experiencewith at least 3-5 years in customer facing roles.
